A new home for family smiles in Polk City, IA

Dr. Abby Gerhardt is the founder of Big Creek Family Dental, a new dental practice coming soon to the Polk City community. Growing up just minutes away in Ankeny, Dr. Abby always admired the close-knit, welcoming spirit of Polk City and is excited to build a practice where patients and families feel known, valued, and cared for.

With a passion for creating meaningful relationships and providing exceptional dental care, Dr. Abby’s vision is to offer a comfortable, welcoming dental experience built on trust, compassion, and personalized care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Abby enjoys spending time with her family, especially making memories at the lake with her favorite (and only) 7-year-old nephew. She loves playing golf, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones (despite earning her dental degree from the University of Iowa — a friendly rivalry she embraces!).

Dr. Abby looks forward to meeting the families of Polk City and the surrounding communities and welcoming them to Big Creek Family Dental.
